Meet Australia's new Bachelorette Georgia
GEORGIA Love will star in this year's season of The Bachelorette.
The 27-year-old Victorian native is a TV journalist who worked in Launceston and Melbourne before becoming a nightly WIN news presenter in Hobart.
Her identity was leaked yesterday by New Idea magazine after her social media accounts went suspiciously quiet.
In a twist of fate the WIN Network will air the reality dating show for the first time this year thanks to a new broadcast partnership with Channel 10 which starts on July 1.
"My whole life, I have put my job and career first but have always felt something has been missing," she said in a statement released by Channel 10.
"I'm now at a point where I'm happy with where I am at in my career and I'm ready to prioritise love."
Love follows in the footsteps of inaugural Bachelorette Sam Frost, who is still loved up with her beau Sasha Mielczarek and landed a radio gig with Rove McManus.
Season two of The Bachelorette is expected to air after the upcoming fourth season of The Bachelor, which stars last year's Bachelorette semi-finalist Richie Strahan.
