Woman critical but stable after being crushed by car
THE 36-year-old woman who was rushed to hospital after being trapped under the wheels of a Ford Falcon is in a critical but stable condition.
It was reported the woman had got out of the car and was opening a gate at the Redbank Plains residence when she was hit about 8.30am on Sunday.
Her 68-year-old father's foot had apparently slipped from the brake to the accelerator.
Ipswich police inspector Keith McDonald said the woman had received spinal injuries, lacerations to her liver and a couple of broken ribs.
He said police investigations into the incident were continuing.
